“Amine – Ein Held auf Bewährung” (Amine – A Hero on the Proof”) is a 70 minutes documentary film by director Dani Heusser and Catpics production. In scenes where footage wasn’t existing or filming wasn’t allowed, such as from the protagonists past and of official questionings, animation was used. Luigi Olivadoti first created illustrations, which I then transformed into animations.
For this I imported the illustrations into Adobe Animate and manipulated them to add minimal movements, often loops, to bring the images to life.
